My flutes are based on 19th century originals by Rudall & Rose, with my own modifications to improve tuning, ease of playability and response. I aim to incorporate the very best characteristics of the antique examples I have studied – a full, resonant lower octave rich in harmonics, and a clear, bright upper register.
At the moment I am offering keyless flutes in the key of D, but in time I will be offering other keys such as B♭, E♭ and F, as well as the option of adding sterling silver keys to make the instrument fully chromatic.
